A darker bedroom
A suitable blackout roller can help with light and privacy. Fabric alone does not remove light at the edges; we discuss the fitting and how dark you need the room to be.
Start with what the window needs to do: soften the sun, darken the bedroom or give you privacy. We measure, recommend and fit a useful solution, with familiar controls.
Useful beats smart.
Discuss your room
We keep the choice focused, then confirm physical samples, measurements and compatibility before you commit.

A solar roller can soften glare and help manage incoming sun. Fabric openness and glazing matter. Daytime screening may not give privacy after dark.
Honeycomb blinds offer a different light and insulating approach. We start with a suitable manual option and confirm the exact range and fitting; clip-in cellular is not assumed to be motorised.
A manual blind may be all the room needs. We check reach, safe operation and appropriate child-safe fitting. A powered choice should remove effort rather than add complexity.
Where the assembly is suitable, the selected rechargeable blind-motor route with a matched handheld remote and charger is a candidate. Tube, size, fabric weight and brackets must be confirmed together. Charging access and the physical remote are part of the plan.
A compatible blind-control hub setup can add supported schedules and integrations. Sun or temperature responses need the appropriate compatible sensors and testing. Wireless blind control does not imply universal two-way position feedback. We explain app, internet and account dependencies; no single button or hub is assumed to control every brand.
External shading, awnings and shutters are separate assessed work, not included in these internal-blind categories.
Options to agree for your home. A package includes its stated number of routines, not every example below.
Bring privacy to the room without going to every window.
Approved motor/remote; optional compatible blind-control hub schedule.
Remote control is the baseline. We confirm the exact combination and offline schedule behaviour; remote app access needs internet.
Plan suitable shading before glare becomes uncomfortable.
Compatible blind motor, compatible blind-control hub and supported sun/temperature sensors.
An assessed, tested scenario with a remote override. No guaranteed temperature reduction or universal sensor compatibility.
Not necessarily. Edge gaps and the fitting matter as much as fabric. We discuss the level of darkness you need, measure the window and explain the likely result.
It can help manage incoming sun and glare, but fabric openness, glazing, orientation and installation affect the result. We do not guarantee a temperature drop or claim that an internal blind replaces cooling.
Some solar fabrics provide daytime screening but lose privacy when the room is brighter than outside. We discuss after-dark privacy and whether a different fabric or layered solution is needed.
The cellular construction provides a different light, privacy and insulating approach. The benefit depends on the specific fabric and fit; there is no universal energy-saving percentage. Manual operation is the starting point.
Only where the tube, dimensions, weight, brackets and controls suit a supported assembly. We assess it first. A clip-in cellular option is treated as manual, not assumed to accept a blind motor.
A matched physical remote is the baseline. A suitable rechargeable blind motor, matched handheld remote and charger can be considered as an approved assembly. A compatible blind-control hub is an optional additional route for supported schedules, voice and sensors.
Battery motors need access for charging. We show the remote and agree the charger. App access and integrations can need internet; we check the actual schedule behaviour and fallback for the selected equipment. A wireless button is not a universal blind controller.
We confirm the physical samples available before you choose fabric and colour. Price follows measurement and the agreed fabric, fitting and control system. Made-to-measure manufacture and fitting dates are confirmed in your quote.

Bring photographs of the room and windows, rough dimensions and a note of when it becomes uncomfortable. We confirm which demonstrations and samples are available when arranging your visit.
